GHWS Race Day 2

After last week's light, light winds the Sigma 38 fleet, biggest one design entry in the series was treated to near perfect conditions with a moderate northeasterly (would have been nice to see a bit more sun). Persephone have started exceptionally strongly, today taking 2 more bullets to add to their one last weekend. With Alacrity finished second in both races. It today's first race, Light, out for the first time this series, finished 3rd and in the second, Kindred Spirit. As usual in this one design fleet positions were closer than close, in the first race Vitesse and Marta were 17 seconds apart and in the second race Marta and Rho were 25 second apart. Listening to the rain lashing down now, the fleet was certainly lucky to have had such a great day out on the water.
