Spring Championships Weekend 1

The inshore Sigma 38 series got off to a fast, frantic start in the Warsash Spring Series. The big tides and fickle, patch winds ensured that after six races brains were totally frazzled and bodies were completely shot. In the Series so far, racing in IRC 3 Machismo is first, followed by Light and the Pandanova. All three boats won a race. Sadly Pandanova suffered a bit of damage on the first day and had to retire on the Saturday. They quickly sorted themselves out to be back on the race course on Sunday with our popular younger Sigma 38 sailors Altanta and Alexander playing their part. Once again with a weekends racing crews were able enjoy social time together. The forcast for this weekend is currently showing more wind which should help us but be warned its from the northeast again. Wrap up warm and let's do it again!
