Cowes Week 2016

With dominant high pressure the weather simply cannot have been better for Cowes Week 2016.Chris and Vanessa Choules and their well oiled crew on With Alacrity dominated the week, winning overall with six out of six wins. The battle for second place was much closer with Sam owned by Peter Hopps, Hilary Cook and Serena Alexander finishing just two points ahead of Andrew Gorden's Panadanova. Off the water the week kicked off with the legendary Sigmania Rum Party hosted by David Lindon. £10 for every bottle of rum consumed is generously donated to Shadow Fax Racing, a non-profit racing school for disadvantaged youngsters.
