GHWS Race Day 4

Mid way through the Winter Series and competitors were treated to an extra hour in bed, unseasonably warm weather and a perfect 10 to 18 knots of wind. The conditions certainly paid for Light in the first race with special guest, Chris Choules on board. She lead from the beginning to break Persephone's wining streak. Persephone wasn't far behind finishing second and Kindred Spirit, skippered by Tom, was third. In the second race Persephone fought to take the lead from Light and finished just 18 seconds in front. Kindred finished third again. Back in the club house the prizes were sponsored by the Impala class, our smaller sister also designed by David Thomas. Next weekend is a break in the series, so see you all in two weeks. Those who would like to join in the fun can still enter for the second half. Hopefully With Alacrity will have been able to resolve the issues with her boom by then.
