RORC Myth of Malham

Published 09:58 on 26 May 2015

Ten Sigma 38s lined up on the startling for the RORC Myth of Malha, Eddystone Lighthouse race over this Bank Holiday Weekend. This Fastnet qualifier saw the biggest RORC fleet since the 2013 Fastnet Race. With relatively light winds the tidal flow over the 229 mile course made for a tense, tactical and complex race, an ideal rehearsal for the Fastnet itself. The tension was no where more evident on the Sigma 38 Class leaders, after almost 48hours of racing, Persephone crossed the line only 16 seconds in front of Machismo. With Alacrity came in third, with Paracelsus fourth and Vitesse fifth.
